We aim at contributing to several of the UN Sustainability Goals. As Øy is owned by the Blue Cross charity-organization in Kristiansand, Norway, you are with us to include everyone - no one should be left by themselves.

Education
In our Blue Cross-projects, we focus on education, life skills and participation in the local environment, and by encouraging life skills opportunities for all. We provide free schooling for vulnerable kids.

The goal of our Blue Cross-projects is to make education for a sustainable lifestyle accessible to absolutely everyone, this includes a strong focus on equality and strengthening the position of girls and women. Strengthening the position of girls and women will contribute to abolish all forms of violence against all girls and women who are particularly vulnerable when substance-abuse is involved.

The world is in our view one big island that we need to care for and respect. Being an online store our biggest challenge is to reduce the environmental impact of transportation. Our shipping partners are committed to reduce their carbon footprint by using emission friendly choices in transportation.
We use DHLs GoGreen solution for international shipping and climate neutral services for local shipping in Norway.
